Please read re: USA Registration ID Cards
Hello Stingrays! This is a reminder that every swimmer MUST bring his/her current (expires 12/31/2008) USA Swimming Registration ID card to all swim meets. Please attach your card to your bag so that you don’t lose it. At every meet there is a chance that you will be asked by meet officials to show your registration card. We have some very important meets coming up and it would be a shame if someone missed the opportunity to swim because they left their card at home.
Practices for week of 2/18/2008
Practice for this week will be as follows:
Wednesday/Thurs/Friday:
All color groups (with the exception of white) will meet at the pool at 4:00 pm (3:45 on Friday) to get into the water at 4:15 (4:00 on Friday). It is important that we get in the water while the sun is out and air temperture is warm. Blue group won’t be in long. Silver group little longer and Pre/Gold and Gold will probably last for 1:45 to 2 hours total (I hope).
Saturday….. we will see what the water temperature is on Friday and see if we need to move this practice back to 11:00 rather than 8:00…. We will send out an email regarding this so keep your eyes peeled!!
I understand this is Rodeo Break Week, thus the pool won’t be as crowded as it may seem! Please be prepared to wrap up warmly after practice and not stay cold on the way home. Also, please be ready to stretch out of water prior to entry into the water to prevent injury. See you at the pool.
