Head Coach Marika Hodge
Lead Coach for Group 1, Junior 3 and Senior Groups
Coach Marika believes in inclusivity, respectability, and accountability. She expects athletes to always exhibit good character, and believes that good goal-setting and hard work will lead to accomplishments on and off the pool deck. Coach Marika values the partnership between athletes and coach: she will go out of her way to support athletes to succeed in the pool and outside of swimming; in return, she expects athletes to put trust in the process, exhibit good character and other Team values, and always have a positive attitude. There is nothing she hates more than wasted time, but she finds that value can be found in even the most unexpected activities. Coach Marika believes that finding the fun in competitive swimming always comes first.
