The Tucson J Stingrays Swim Team is currently seeking Safe Sport Recognition. USA Swimming has a Safe Sport program that is centered around abuse prevention. For more information on the program, please visit the USA Swimming Safe Sport webpage.
Safe Sport recognized Clubs have implemented a variety of policies and procedures aimed at abuse prevention. The Stingrays are committed to adopting any policies and procedures that achieve these ends. Additionally, athlete safety is our top priority, and so the Team encourages all parents and athletes of an appropriate age to complete Safe Sport training. Please visit our training page to find out how to access the training courses.
More Safe Sport resources can be found at pages listed under the Safe Sport tab above. These include contact information, Best Practice Guidelines, the Team's Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP), reporting information, training information, and the Team's Greivance Procedures.
